We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinetmaker Assistant to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a cabinetmaking workshop and assisting in the construction and installation of custom cabinets and furniture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the cabinetmaker in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood components to build cabinets and furniture
- Sand and finish wood surfaces to ensure a smooth and polished appearance
- Install cabinets and furniture at construction sites according to design specifications
- Handle and maintain woodworking tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow blueprints and design plans to ensure accuracy and quality in the construction process
- Collaborate with the cabinetmaker and other team members to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a cabinetmaking workshop
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design plans
- Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid UAE driver's license is preferred
