Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Catering Program Manager to oversee and enhance our catering services within the construction sector in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a background in food service management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential for ensuring that our on-site catering operations meet the needs of our workforce while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Development:
- Design and implement a comprehensive catering program tailored to the needs of construction sites, including meal planning, food service delivery, and dietary considerations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and fulfill the catering requirements for various construction projects.

2. Management of Catering Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day catering operations, ensuring timely delivery of meals and services to construction sites.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene in compliance with local health regulations.

3. Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Prepare and manage catering budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets.
- Monitor food and supply inventory levels, implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

4. Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and efficiency.
- Conduct performance evaluations, providing feedback and development opportunities for staff.

5. Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with food suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring the procurement of high-quality ingredients and materials.
- Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.

6. Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all catering operations comply with local health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food preparation and service.

7. Customer Satisfaction:
- Engage with construction site managers and employees to gather feedback and make adjustments to the catering program as needed.
- Address any issues or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

8. Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide regular reports on catering operations, budgets, and customer feedback to senior management.
- Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in catering management or food service operations, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in budget management and cost control.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of local food safety regulations and best practices in catering operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and catering management software.
