Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cement Mason to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceuticals sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in cement masonry and concrete work, with a particular focus on projects that adhere to the specific regulatory and safety standards of the pharmaceutical industry. This role requires a commitment to quality craftsmanship and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Surface Preparation: Prepare and clean surfaces for cement application, ensuring proper bonding and longevity of the finished product.

- Mixing and Pouring: Accurately measure and mix cement, sand, and other materials according to specifications, and pour and spread the mixture in designated areas.

- Finishing Techniques: Employ various finishing techniques to achieve desired textures and appearances, including troweling, smoothing, and edging.

- Form Setting: Construct, set, and remove forms for pouring concrete, ensuring proper alignment and reinforcement as per project specifications.

- Quality Control: Inspect work for adherence to quality standards, ensuring that all projects meet the rigorous requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.

- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment, particularly when working around sensitive pharmaceutical facilities.

- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure efficient completion of projects and adherence to timelines.

- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in cement masonry, with a strong preference for experience in the pharmaceutical or similar regulated industries.

- Skills: Proficient in the use of masonry tools and equipment, including trowels, mixers, and concrete saws. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

- Knowledge: Understanding of cement composition and mixing techniques, as well as knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions, with a commitment to maintaining physical fitness for the demands of the job.

- Certification: Relevant certifications in masonry, construction safety, or a related field are advantageous.
