Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chemist to join our dynamic team in Al Ain. The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing our agricultural initiatives through the application of chemical principles in the development and enhancement of agricultural products and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct research and development of agricultural chemicals, including fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides.
- Analyze soil, water, and plant samples to assess nutrient levels and contamination.
- Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure product safety, efficacy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with agronomists and other scientists to improve crop yields and sustainability through innovative chemical solutions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of experiments, findings, and recommendations.
- Monitor and evaluate the environmental impact of agricultural chemicals and practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and advancements in agricultural chemistry.
- Provide technical support and training to agricultural staff and stakeholders regarding the safe and effective use of chemical products.
- Participate in field trials to assess the performance of new products and formulations.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for chemical application in agriculture.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Agricultural Chemistry, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in agricultural chemistry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of chemical analysis techniques and laboratory safety protocols.
- Familiarity with agricultural practices and crop management.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
