Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the agricultural sector. The Compliance Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring that our organization adheres to all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices within the agriculture industry. This position requires a deep understanding of compliance frameworks, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international agricultural laws, regulations, and standards. Stay updated on changes in legislation and assess their impact on operations.

- Policy Development: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed across the organization.

- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance issues. Develop and implement corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks.

- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs for staff on compliance policies, procedures, and relevant regulations to foster a culture of compliance within the organization.

- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities, audits, and training sessions. Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various departments, including operations, legal, and quality assurance, to ensure compliance is integrated into all business processes.

- Incident Management: Investigate compliance-related incidents and breaches, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

- Continuous Improvement: Monitor industry trends and best practices in compliance and agriculture. Propose improvements to existing processes and systems to enhance compliance effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related role, preferably within the agriculture sector.

- Strong knowledge of agricultural regulations and standards, including environmental, health, and safety laws.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
