Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Conservation Officer to join our dynamic team in Dubai's healthcare sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting and implementing conservation practices that protect and enhance the natural environment within healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities:
1. Conservation Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive conservation strategies that align with the organization’s sustainability goals in healthcare.
- Conduct environmental assessments to identify areas for improvement and potential conservation initiatives.
2. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations and standards relevant to healthcare operations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to maintain up-to-date knowledge of conservation laws and guidelines.
3. Sustainability Initiatives:
- Lead initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of healthcare activities, including waste management, energy efficiency, and water conservation.
- Promote the use of sustainable materials and practices within the healthcare setting.
4. Education and Training:
- Develop and deliver training programs for healthcare staff on conservation practices and sustainability.
- Raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation among patients, staff, and the broader community.

- Collaborate with research institutions and other organizations to advance conservation efforts in healthcare.
6. Monitoring and Reporting:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Biology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in conservation, environmental management, or sustainability, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of conservation principles, environmental regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage and motivate diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with green building practices and certifications (e.g., LEED) is a plus.
