Job Summary:

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Campus Security Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and assets within our campus. The Campus Security Officer will play a crucial role in enforcing security policies, performing regular patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations in the consumer goods sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Patrol and Monitor: Conduct regular patrols of the campus premises to deter and detect any suspicious activities or unauthorized access. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security breaches.

- Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms. Assess situations and take appropriate actions to ensure the safety of personnel and property.

- Access Control: Manage access control systems, including visitor logs and identification verification for employees and guests. Ensure that only authorized personnel are allowed on campus.

- Report Writing: Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in detail. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports for management review.

- Emergency Preparedness: Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and evacuation procedures. Conduct drills to ensure preparedness for potential emergencies.

- Collaboration: Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services to facilitate a coordinated response to incidents. Liaise with internal departments to address security concerns.

- Safety Inspections: Perform routine safety inspections of the campus to identify hazards and recommend improvements. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

- Training and Awareness: Conduct security awareness training sessions for employees and visitors. Promote a culture of safety and security within the organization.

- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries regarding security policies and procedures. Address any concerns or complaints in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security certifications or training is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security or law enforcement, preferably within a corporate or consumer goods environment.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Proficient in using security technology and monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of emergency response protocols and first aid.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 kg as needed.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies and assist individuals in distress.

Additional Information:

This position may require working flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must pass a background check and possess a valid UAE driving license.
