Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ceramic Tile Installer to join our team in the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing ceramic tiles and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes in various projects, including laboratories, cleanrooms, and other pharmaceutical facilities. The role requires adherence to strict safety and hygiene standards, as well as an understanding of the specific requirements for flooring and wall installations within a pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure and cut tiles to fit specified areas, ensuring accuracy and precision in layout and design.
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring proper adhesion conditions.
- Install ceramic tiles on walls, floors, and ceilings, following established patterns and designs.
- Mix and apply grout and adhesive materials, ensuring a smooth and even application.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring that all installations meet company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, particularly those related to working in pharmaceutical environments.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
- Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to the highest levels of hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a ceramic tile installer, with a minimum of 3 years in a relevant role.
- Knowledge of various types of ceramic tiles and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

- Certification in tile installation or a related field.
- Experience working in cleanroom environments or other specialized facilities.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and practices relevant to construction in the pharmaceutical industry.
