Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Digital Operations Officer (CDOO) to lead our digital transformation initiatives within the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital technologies, operations management, and strategic leadership, with a proven track record of driving digital innovation and operational excellence in complex environments. This role is pivotal in enhancing our operational capabilities, improving efficiencies, and ensuring we remain competitive in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital operations strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and drive the digital vision and roadmap.

2. Digital Transformation:
- Lead the transformation of operational processes through the integration of advanced digital technologies, including AI, machine learning, IoT, and big data analytics.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

3. Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the optimization of digital operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance in all aspects of the business.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of digital initiatives and operational performance.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT, R&D, production, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on digital initiatives and operational goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation across departments to drive digital initiatives.

5. Change Management:
- Champion change management efforts to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and operational processes across the organization.
- Provide training and support to staff to ensure they are equipped to leverage new digital tools effectively.

6. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to understand their digital needs and expectations.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our digital transformation initiatives.

7. Risk Management and Compliance:
- Ensure that all digital operations comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, especially in areas related to security and data privacy.
- Identify potential risks associated with digital operations and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital operations, technology management, or related fields, preferably within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and managing complex operational projects.
- Strong understanding of emerging digital technologies and their application in the Aerospace and Defense sector.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
