Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operations Program Manager to lead and oversee our operations in the agriculture sector based in Dubai. This pivotal role is designed for a visionary leader who can drive operational excellence, enhance productivity, and implement strategic initiatives to optimize our agricultural programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture operations, project management, and team leadership, combined with a passion for sustainable farming practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals and objectives in the agriculture sector.
- Collaborate with senior management to establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.

2. Program Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of agricultural projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of programs, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among various stakeholders.

3. Operational Efficiency:
- Identify areas for process improvement within agricultural operations and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance data to make informed decisions and recommendations for optimization.

4. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all operations comply with local and international agricultural regulations, safety standards, and sustainability practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in agricultural technology to maintain competitive advantage.

5. Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the operations team.

6. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, suppliers, and agricultural associations.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, events, and meetings to promote our agricultural initiatives and network with key stakeholders.

7. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across projects and programs.
- Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting variances and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the agriculture sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale agricultural programs and projects.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, supply chain management, and sustainability initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
