We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commodity Manager to join our team in Sharjah within the Transportation and Logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor relationship management.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency in commodity procurement
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements for commodity purchases
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with contractual agreements
- Manage inventory levels and track commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- [X] years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry trends and best practices
