Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Foreman to oversee the construction of healthcare facilities in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Management: Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is carried out according to project specifications, schedules, and safety standards.

- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.

- Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality standards for all construction activities, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulations.

- Scheduling: Develop and manage work schedules, allocating resources effectively to meet project deadlines and milestones.

- Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations, conducting safety briefings and ensuring that all team members adhere to safety practices.

- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, including project managers, architects, engineers, and clients, ensuring clear and timely communication.

- Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues or delays in the construction process and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks and keep the project on track.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and any incidents that occur on site, ensuring that all documentation is up to date and accessible.

- Budget Management: Assist in monitoring project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring that all expenditures are within agreed limits.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Construction Foreman, preferably with a focus on healthcare construction projects (minimum of 5 years and up to 8 years of experience).

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations specific to the healthcare sector.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.

- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.

- Familiarity with project management software and tools is an advantage.

- Relevant certifications in construction management, safety, or first aid are preferred.
