Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Communications Officer (CCO) to lead our communications efforts in the healthcare sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare communications, public relations, and stakeholder engagement, with a passion for promoting health initiatives and enhancing public awareness of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission, vision, and goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms and initiatives.

2. Public Relations Management:
- Oversee the creation and dissemination of press releases, media kits, and other public relations materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, healthcare influencers, and community organizations to enhance the organization’s visibility.

3. Internal Communications:
- Design and implement internal communication strategies to ensure alignment and engagement among staff and stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the senior management team on communication issues and opportunities.

4. Crisis Communication:
- Develop and manage crisis communication plans to address potential issues swiftly and effectively, safeguarding the organization’s reputation.
- Act as the organization’s spokesperson during crisis situations, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to the public and media.

5. Digital Communication:
- Oversee the organization’s digital presence, including website content, social media channels, and online marketing strategies.
- Utilize analytics and metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns.

6. Community Engagement:
- Lead initiatives to engage with the community, promote health awareness, and advocate for public health issues.
- Organize events, workshops, and campaigns that promote the organization’s services and health initiatives.

7. Team Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing communications team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and professional development.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.

8. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all communications comply with relevant healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior communications role, ideally within the healthcare sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
- Strong understanding of media relations, digital communication, and community engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex healthcare information in an accessible manner.
- Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in measuring the effectiveness of communication initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
