Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and manage financial statements, reports, and forecasts for the agriculture sector, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement within agricultural operations.
- Oversee the budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to establish financial targets and monitor performance against those goals.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns, while identifying tax-saving opportunities specific to the agriculture industry.
- Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard the organization’s assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits, working closely with external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process and address any findings.
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management to support decision-making related to investments, expansions, and capital projects in the agriculture sector.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in accounting and finance standards, as well as industry trends affecting the agriculture sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial training and support, enhancing financial literacy across the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master’s degree or additional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the agriculture industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems; experience with agricultural finance software is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
