We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit and Collections Manager to join our team in Dubai. As a Credit and Collections Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the credit and collections process within our transportation and logistics company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure the timely collection of outstanding debts
- Monitor customer accounts and payment trends to identify potential credit risks and delinquent accounts
- Negotiate payment plans with customers to resolve outstanding balances and minimize bad debt losses
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to address customer billing inquiries and disputes in a timely manner
- Analyze customer credit worthiness and make recommendations for credit limits and terms
- Provide regular reports and updates on accounts receivable aging and collection efforts to senior management
- Manage a team of collections specialists and provide coaching and training as needed
- Develop relationships with external collection agencies and legal counsel to escalate collection efforts when necessary

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit and collections, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment and collections strategies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
